School in Italy

When Laurier began his course in equine technique at the agroalimentary Institute of Technology of St-Anne of Pocatière, he discovered a passion for Western Perfromance riding and more particularly, for the discipline of Reining. Chantal, attended the same College and was enrolled in Agricultural Management  at the same time. She also impassioned herself for Western Performance riding. In 1991, we took down a contact of trainers and lesson in Italy. During 3 last years over there, we tried out raising western, Reining there. Bay-tree learned the marechalery with the experts there.

The return to Quebec

In 1996, we finally finished our race in Témiscamingue. We bought a ground with Guigues, formed a company of marechalery, equine formation, training of horses and began our breeding of horses Quarter Horse and Paint. Since, made Laurier of the marechalery for 150 customers (both in Quebec and in Ontario), which accounts for 450 to 500 horses per years. We also have much work in the drive of the stripping of foal, until the drive of completion of Performance horses and Reining.

In 1996, Laurier was teaching in Cégep to open different course, such as: food, first aid, basic marechalery etc In addition to offering courses of horsemanship.

Center Pro-Equine Drive

In the course of the years, Laurier has followed several formations so much to the level of the marechalery and the drive. It has followed its formation with trainers to re-elect such as Lise Roy, Alain Allard, Sophie Laverdière, Gaétant Gauthier. Réjean Lévesques, Josh Lyons. It is the only one has to hold an accreditation of Josh Lyons in Quebec. There are only 40 people in the world who are accredited with the program of Josh Lyons.

In 2003, with the construction of a new stable (10 Boxes) and a horse-gear covered (80pi. X 224pi.), we created the Center of Pro-Equine Drive.

Since 2005, we have to carry out several installations: addition of bed, estrade for the external horse-gear (150pi. X 375pi.), installation of the 1st stables of 10 boxes, to receive the horses adequately. Installation of estrade in the covered horse-gear and installation of the parking to accomodate the trailers with horses. What enables us today to be able to receive people adequately. And capacity to carry out great events for the equine world.
